Bill Ripka's 1978 Porsche 911SC was raced for about 10 years with the POC before Bill bought it in December of 2009 from a fellow original 912 owner. It was already race equipped with a roll bar, Carrera front oil cooler, an IROC tail, and some suspension modifications. The engine had been rebuilt in 2004 to a stock 3.0L with ARP case studs and rod bolts, AASCO valve springs, Ti retainers, and Carrera chain tensioners. Bill repainted the car with the original color and added a G2X data acquisition system, an LSD, straight pipes, a cool shirt setup, and Kumho V710 competition tires. It has been christened "Daisey", formerly being known as "Old 599". In his very first year autocrossing "Daisey", Bill earned a second place championship award.
